Audio Project – House/Funk with Ableton Live

Composition, piano sampling, plugins, mixing, and live performance.

Live performance in Rambouillet

Context: High school music course, 1h/week over one term, on Mac.

Team: Duo project (pair work).

Software: Ableton Live + plugins.

Venue: Live show in Rambouillet (stage setup + keyboard improvisation).

Goal

Learn how to compose and mix an original track while discovering key audio concepts: rhythm, structure, effects, and live performance basics.

Process

Recorded a piano line to create a sample base.
Added instruments and textures with plugins for a House/Funk identity.
Structured the arrangement, transitions, and overall dynamics.
Final mixdown and on-stage improvisation with a MIDI keyboard.

What I Did
